Vastu For Entrance

The home’s entrance should be located in the East or North direction. These directions are very auspicious and bring health and prosperity. The main door should be the largest door in the house, and it should open inside in a clockwise direction. The door should not make creaking noises.

Vastu For Living Room

The living room should be located in the east or north of the home. Avoid placing the living room in the southwest corner of the home. Keeping the living room door in the North-west direction is considered auspicious. The Northeast area of the living room should be kept clean and empty.

Vastu For Bedroom

The master bedroom should be the largest and located in the South-west direction. The children’s bedroom is in the West, and the guest’s is in the East. The head of the bed is preferred to be in the North. Toilets should not face the bed, and the doors of the toilets should always be kept closed.

Vastu For Kitchen

A kitchen should be located in the Southeast direction, and the platform should be placed in the East with a sink on the left and gas on the right. The floor and walls of the kitchen should be coloured in shades of yellow, orange, rose, chocolate, or red. Windows can be placed on the East and West walls of the kitchen, and an exhaust fan can be placed over any of the windows.

Vastu For Toilets

Toilets should be placed on the West or North-west side of the bedroom’s North. The water closet should be placed mostly on the North-south axis. The ventilation window should be provided on the East, North, or West wall.

Vastu For Staircase

The staircase should be placed in the south, west, or south-west direction. Stairs should be in a clockwise direction.

Vastu For Pooja Room

The Pooja room should be on the ground floor in the northeast corner. The north and East walls can have openings. The idols of God should be kept in the East or West walls, a few inches away from the wall.
